Dr. Harrison Hightower Founder & CEO

Dr. Harrison Hightower founded HighPrep Tutoring with a passion for helping students unlock opportunities through test preparation. His journey began in high school, when he dedicated his junior year to mastering the ACT in order to avoid student loan debt. After countless hours of studying, he earned a score high enough to secure a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship to Auburn University.

During his senior year of high school in 2015, Dr. Hightower began tutoring other students for the ACT, and his passion for teaching quickly grew. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019, followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in May 2022.

Today, HighPrep Tutoring has grown to a team of more than 50 high-performing tutors who specialize in course-specific instruction. These tutors are driven, knowledgeable, and committed to helping students succeed both in the classroom and on standardized tests.

Reid graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management. With experience in leadership roles at both Fortune 500 and private companies, he brings a strong background in operations, strategy, and relationship building. Reid focuses on driving growth and expanding the company’s reach and impact.

Will Prater

VP of Operations

Dr. Prater completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University in 2019 and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy in 2024. Fully licensed as a pharmacist in Alabama, with a strong specialization in the NAPLEX and MPJE exams, he also brings expertise in chemistry and organic chemistry.

Abigail Wiest

Abigail completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Alabama. With years of experience helping students achieve dramatic improvements in their test scores—and a perfect 36 on the ACT herself—she brings unmatched expertise to our team. She delivers high-impact, personalized test prep across a range of exams.

Ansley is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Marketing. She leads all marketing strategy and execution, from managing HighPrep’s brand identity to developing campaigns that drive enrollment and partnerships. Her creativity and data-driven approach continue to strengthen HighPrep’s presence and growth.
